MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME-
Mentoring is when someone with more knowledge in an area helps a less experienced person. Mentoring is about helping people to make their own decision,and it has big benefits for both parties.
Mentors assist college students in determining their career aspirations and work with students to achieve them because mentors are often well known and respected in their field and community they can connect student with other professionals and jobs.
Doing your part as a mentor improve social skills, make students better leaders by enabling them to relate to different kinds of people, help them develop strong communication skills , so they can handle any situation. A mentor is someone who is always in a student’s corner.
PURPOSE OF MENTORSHIP-
A mentor may share with a mentee information about his/her own career path, as well as provide guidance, motivation, emotional support and role modeling . A mentor may help with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts and identifying resources.
Our college has started a mentorship programme for the upliftment of its students.
